Green Smoothie + Progress

Getting my servings of veggies and fruits can sometimes be a bit a challenge for me, especially veggies.  However, one of my favorite ways to get my fruit and veggies in is with a green smoothie!!  I love having this smoothie for breakfast but it great for any time of day.  It’s also super refreshing, perfect for the summer!!

Getting Organized

Happy Sunday!!!

Since graduating I’ve been feeling like something is missing.  Maybe it’s the structure of having to always be studying or working on a paper or project.  It kept me busy and helped me enjoy my down time a lot.  Now I don’t have that and basically go to work and then get home and chill.  Thursday morning I was going through my old pictures and when I got to the pictures I took during the Fall of 2015, I grew nostalgic.  I saw all the pretty pics I had taken for posts and missed keeping up Makeup & Flowers.

This morning is a rainy Sunday morning and, for me, that is a super awesome way to start out Sunday.  I love raining days, especially when I don’t have to do anything all day. This week was my first week that I am no longer a student, I work on campus so going to school after graduation was super weird!!

Slow & Steady

Do any of you remember that story with the tortoise and the fox?  They race and the fox is sure he is going to win so he takes a rest and doesn’t take the race seriously.  On the other hand, the tortoise takes the race seriously and even though he is slower than the fox he ultimately wins the race.  Weightloss is similar to this story, you want to be the tortoise and not the fox.

Introduction to My Weightloss Journey

Happy Thursday!!

If you have read my blog in the past, you will probably know that I have been trying to lose weight for a while now.  Unfortunately, I have not been successful.  For that reason, I started going to a dietitian at my university, thankfully it is pretty cheap at my school!!  This past Monday was my last meeting with her so I wanted to start blogging my weightless journey in order to have accountability.  It would also be awesome if my journey could help someone pursue their journey as well.
