One of my favorite things is to read and post tags, they are so much fun and they help you get to know the person that wrote it a bit more! I came across a Beauty Blogger Tag by Sophia Patel, you can check out her blog by clicking on her name.
I hope you enjoy reading this Beauty Blogger Tag, enjoy!!
1. How many times do you wash your face daily?
I’m horrible at washing my face everyday, I do however always using a makeup remover wipe if I wear makeup that day.
2. What skin type do you have? (dry, oily, combo)
My skin is pretty normal but I do get slightly oily on my t-zone, so I would say that I have combination skin. Continue reading
I have always loved everything beauty related since I was much younger, my favorite presents included pretend makeup. I remember going to school with a purse full of that fake makeup and lots of lipgloss. At the age of 13 I started wearing real makeup and I was so excited that my mom had finally let me!! That was about 8 years ago and my passion for all things beauty has only grown. Throughout the years I have learned many tips and tricks when it comes to beauty. Some I have read from magazines or blogs, watched on YouTube, and others I discovered on my own.
Today I want to share with you my beauty tips and tricks. I would also like to add that I am not a professional but these are the tips that I have found that work for me and I hope that work for you too. Enjoy!!
1. Watch a show while painting your nails. If you are anything like me, then you get impatient while waiting on your nails to dry. I would always get super bored and, of course, my nails would then get ruined because I want to do other things. I started watching Netflix while I do my nails and it makes the waiting time go by super fast so my nails look better.
This week was CRAZY!!! I had four test plus other assignments and quizzes so I was studying at all times this week. Luckily I had this week off from work so it gave me plenty of time to focus on school. Overall I think the studying really helped because I think I did pretty good on all my tests. Other than that I would basically watch Parks & Recreation all day, yes even while studying sometimes. I’ve also been starting to get that creative flow back, the one I had when I first started blogging. I plan to start blogging back to normal and try my hardest not to skip dates, that’s if school let’s me (5 classes are no joke!!)
You may have noticed that the name for my favorites has changed. I used to do my favorite eight items of the month but I have decided to simply do favorites as there are some months were I have more than eight favorite items and other months, like this one, where I have fewer.
January has flown by pretty fast. At first it felt like this month was going slow and then all of a sudden we are at the last week of January. Overall I can say that January has been a bit challenging but nevertheless enjoyable. Keep reading to see my favorite things of January. Enjoy!
I always get so excited when my Birchbox comes in the mail and I was extra excited for this box because I saw someone else’s box on Instagram and I really liked the idea for the box this month. Along with the samples, a sheet of stickers came with the box that you could place on the lid of the box. The lid says “2016: The Year of” you can use the sticker to fill in the blank. My favorite was “Strength” so that is the one I used for the top of my box. I really loved that part of the of box. Keep reading to see my thoughts on the products that came in this month. Enjoy!
A few days ago I was reading through some blogs and I came across one post by SoftlySaturated that really caught my attention. It’s 25 makeup related questions and I really liked it because not only was it fun to read but it really gave me an insight on her relationship with makeup so I wanted to answer it myself. You can check her answers out my clicking her name above. Enjoy!
1. How often do you wear makeup?
I don’t wear makeup as often as I would like. I make an effort to wear makeup for school and I really love doing my makeup over the weekend. I don’t really wear makeup at work because I work at a small factory so I don’t really feel the need to wear makeup there.
There is a makeup look that seems to be the classic Holiday makeup look which is a golf, shimmery eye with a bright red lipstick. I really love how this makeup looks on everybody so I decided to recreate the look. Keep reading to find out what products I used for this Classic Holiday Makeup Look. Enjoy!
I always get super excited for Birchbox and I was extra excited for this one because it is the December Birchbox. Keep reading to find out my thoughts on this month’s Birchbox. Enjoy!
One of the items I got in my Play! by Sephora box was the Make Up For Ever Step 1 Skin Equalizer Hydrating Primer. At first I didn’t really think I would use it at all since I love my Smashbox primer.
What made me decide to try the primer was the fact that it is supposed to hydrate and because the days are cold now, hydration is a must.
Keep reading to find out my thoughts on this primer and to see if it’s a hit or a miss. Enjoy!
