Birchbox Unboxing: June 2017

If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, you know that Birchbox Unboxing posts are one of my favorites!!! That’s why I am super excited to share with you what I received for June, and my thoughts on the products and overall box!

Birchbox Unboxing: June 2017

In this month’s Birchbox, two products stood out to me.  One I was excited for and ended up not liking very much.  The other I thought was not going to be great but it ended up being my favorite out the entire box.  Keep reading to find out what those two products were as well to see the rest of the products!!

Benefit Cosmetics Goof Proof Brow Pencil in Shade Medium:  I was super excited to see this brow pencil in my box because I’ve been wanting to try products from this brow line.  I gave the pencil a try right away but wasn’t too impressed!!  I use the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz so I am used to a very thin brow pencil so that could have been why I didn’t like the end result.  I also think the medium shade is too warm for me.  Despite not being very impressed by this eyebrow pencil, I thought it was super cute because it’s super tiny!!! (I love tiny stuff!!)

Catherine Malandrino Style de Paris: Like I mentioned in a previous post, I’m not a big fan of receiving perfume but this one smells great!! I definitely get summer vibes from it!!  When I smell it I feel like I’m walking through a garden that so many oranges!

Earth’s Nectar Green Olive and Lavender Scalp Oil: I’m definitely intimidated by this product because the thought of putting oil in my hair only makes me picture super oily hair and that’s my nightmare!!  I will probably try it on a day when I don’t have work in case all goes wrong but hopefully it works!!  Have any of you used this product? If so, did you like it?

Manna Kadar Cosmetics Eye Candy Priming Shadow Stick in Jelly Bean: Remember the product I thought I wasn’t going to like but ended up loving?  Well this is that product!!  The reason I didn’t think it was going to be that good is a pretty bad reason.  When I opened my box, I saw the eyeshadow stick and it was turned all the way up, broken and smeared all over the cap.  I judged it by the way it looked.  I was able to get it back in the tube so all is good.  I have another eyeshadow stick that I really like to put under shimmery shadows to give them an extra pop!  The reason why I ended up loving this so much was because of how smooth it glides on the eyelid and also how pigmented it is!!  I don’t like wearing shadow sticks on their own, it makes me feel weird!! I’ll be using this when I go for a more smokey eye.  I definitely recommend this shadow stick!!!

Marcelle Hydra-C 24H Energizing Hydrating Gel: I kind of ignored this product until right before writing this post.  I think this hydrating gel is a good product to use in the summer because it is much lighter than a regular cream lotion.  I don’t know about you but when I use cream lotions, I’ll start sweating and I hate that feeling!!  This gel claims to keep you hydrated while give you a cool feeling and I’m down for that on these hot summer days!!

Those are all the products I received in my June Birchbox.  Overall this box was okay, it could have been better but I really am glad I received that shadow stick!!

Did you receive any of the same products?  Also let me know in the comments down below if you have used any of these products and whether or not you liked it.
