May has come and gone super fast!! May has been a weird month for me because I am still getting adjusted to my new job. However, after having a month off from working, I’m glad to get back into a working routine. I have a couple of favorites this month that I cannot wait to share with you, so lets get right into it!!
I’m posting later in the day than I usually do for a Sunday but it has been a busy weekend! As usually the week was normal and it went by slow at the beginning of the week and went by super fast at the end. There’s not much to say about the week but this weekend was crazy!! My sister’s 20th birthday was yesterday so my mom, sister and I went to the zoo. The original plan was to go to the zoo and then eat out somewhere but my dad called us while we were at the zoo because he decided to get meat to grill. What was just going to be us four eating, turned to a family party, which my sister was super happy about!!
Having curly hair has its perks as well as its downfalls. One of the downfalls is having frizzy hair where it doesn’t even form a beautiful curl that, deep down inside, you know you have. Because of this, I was super excited to see that I had received the Kerastase Curl Ideal Cleansing Conditioner and Oleo-Curl Cream in my Spirit VoxBox. I didn’t get to try out the product until a week ago. I used it once but I think that is all I need for this review, which could also be a first impressions.
Like I mentioned above, I was super excited to test out these two products, I could already picture myself with beautiful curls. I decided to try it out the night before going to work because, if this product worked, I wanted to sport my beautiful curls in public. Continue reading
One of my favorite things is to read and post tags, they are so much fun and they help you get to know the person that wrote it a bit more! I came across a Beauty Blogger Tag by Sophia Patel, you can check out her blog by clicking on her name.
I hope you enjoy reading this Beauty Blogger Tag, enjoy!!
1. How many times do you wash your face daily?
I’m horrible at washing my face everyday, I do however always using a makeup remover wipe if I wear makeup that day.
2. What skin type do you have? (dry, oily, combo)
My skin is pretty normal but I do get slightly oily on my t-zone, so I would say that I have combination skin. Continue reading
Music is something very important when it comes to a driving experience; the right music can set the tone of the car ride. In the morning when I am on my way to work or school, I still may be feeling a bit sleepy and upbeat music will help me wake up because it makes me jam out to it. Because of this, I decided to make a go-to upbeat playlist that you can listen to on your way to school or work so the car ride can be more fun and you will feel more energized going into school or work. This is also a great playlist to put on when you are doing chores, working out, or just want to jam out in your bedroom!
I hope you enjoy the playlist, it features songs from Taylor Swift, Justin Beiber, Lady Gaga, One Direction, to name a few!
I finally got paid this week, which was the excited part of this week!! I’m super happy to be making money again and getting back into the swing of things. This week at work I was more independent which made me both nervous but also less scared at when I was answering phone call because I didn’t have someone listening to me. I still have to get more used to talking on the phones without it making me nervous! On my days off, I just stayed at home with my sister. We have decided to do more productive things while we are home so that we don’t get super lazy. What are some things you do on days off to keep busy?
Overall this week has been a normal work week with nothing too exciting going on. Continue reading
Having moisturized skin is very important, it makes us look good and it is a sign that we are healthy. While some people are in the habit of putting lotion on everyday, others, like me, not so much! I always seems to forget to put on lotion, even in the summer, so I can have some pretty dry skin. When I saw a funny commercial featuring Leslie Mann promoting the Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizer, I wanted to try out!! My sister and I decided to buy it and see how good this product really is.
It’s been over a month that we have bought this so I am excited to share my thoughts over this moisturizer, so if you are interested, keep on reading!
We all have our go to makeup routine that is quick and easy for everyday wear. Mine has started to change a bit, at least in the eye area. This makeup routine is what I will normally wear to work because it takes out the thinking and I get more time in bed! I also don’t normally wear makeup days that I am not doing anything, unless I feel bored.
So let’s get right in to my everyday makeup routine!
My face makeup tends to be the same no matter what, I really like my foundation so I don’t feel the need to wear a different one on an everyday basis. Continue reading
If you read my last Sit Back Sunday, then you will now that I started a new job this week. I was nervous to start because it was a completely new job. It’s my first office job and it feels scary but also amazing that I have one of those, it makes me feel more adult, haha! I work three times a week so that is amazing because I get four days off, including the weekend. The other thing that I loved about this first work week is that I didn’t not feel like crying afterwards or during. This may sound kind of stupid but, in the past when I have started new jobs, I feel so overwhelmed that I feel like crying or I actually cry after I get out. In this job, however, I feel really comfortable. I do feel a bit nervous still because eventually I will be making calls but I’m pretty sure that in a few months from now, it will not be a big deal at all!
Traveling is something that I wish I could dome of and I have a few places that I really want to visit, some before I turn 30 and others just before I die. I think traveling in your twenties is amazing if it’s something you can do because it’s the time when you have the least amount of responsibilities but you can also start paying for bigger expenses.
Anyway, today I want to share with you some places that I would love to travel to sometime in my life, I will list a few but of course as years go one, I will want to add places to this list.
Paris, France: This is probably a very typical destination but I really do want to go there. I have been fascinated my Parisian culture most of my life because it is chic, girly, and simple at the same time.
