Eyeliner is one of the first kinds of makeup I ever used so I am really picky when it comes to it. I really like eyeliners but there are few that I actually end up loving. While I am picky, I really do like to try them out to see if I find that is better than the one I use currently. So when I saw that I got the Eyeko Fat Liquid Liner in my January Birchbox, I was excited!
I have been using it for about a month now so I decided to share my thoughts on this liquid liner. Keep reading to see whether or not it made it the small list of liners that I love. Enjoy!
I had actually never used a fat liquid liner in my life before because I honestly didn’t see the point to a fat liner, I just thought it would give me a big line and I’m not really into that. I few weeks before I got the liner though, I saw someone use a fat liner and it kind of made me want to try it out. I was really excited to try this eyeliner out but also scared since I was only used to my slanted eyeliner.
The first time I tried this eyeliner, I was actually doing my makeup and work during my lunch time. As I started drawing on the wing I, course, messed up. I didn’t panic though and I actually fixed the wing very easily without going over board with the liner. I was amazed on how good my winged liner turned out and two of my coworkers were amazed as well.
The first thing that I noticed when I used this eyeliner was how easily it glides on and it doesn’t pull on the skin as much as other liners I have used. The second was the intensity of the black was, sometimes liner tend to be on the light black side but this one was super rich.
As thickness goes, at first my wings were thick but in a good way, I have also noticed that the more I use the more I can manipulate the thickness of my eyeliner. I as you can see in the picture below, you can go from super thick to think with this liner.
So would I purchase this liner? YES!! I have been using this liner a lot and I really love how it makes my winged liner look. The only problem I have with this is that I have to be super careful when I line my lower lashes because if you are not light handed enough you will get a super dark spot.
This eyeliner retails at $18 and I think it is a pretty standard cost for liquid liner. I think this eyeliner is great and I really recommend it!
Have you tried Eyeko Fat Liquid Liner? What are your thoughts on it?
