For a while now I have been trying to lose weight and get a much healthier lifestyle but it’s been a bit tricky for me. Because of that I have decided to blog about my health journey every other Monday because I think it would help me stick to this lifestyle change and it might also help someone out there.
I have always been a chubby child, ever since I was 7 years old. When I became a teenager I was still chubby and my family would always talk about. Actually now that I look back, I don’t think I was actually that fat but all my family’s comments gave me that idea. I would also like to add that my family is not mean, I guess they just don’t realize that things like that hurt people’s feelings.
When I was 17 I weighed about 140 lbs. I also met my boyfriend at that age. We would go out all the time and basically just eat junk food. I was also more independent at this time since I could drive and I had money of my own so I would love to eat out. Slowly I started gaining weight. When I started college I was at 160 lbs. When I saw this weight I decided to get on Weight Watchers and I lost about 30 pounds but after I stopped the program I gained it all back and some more.
Fast forward to today and I weight 197 lbs. I honestly hate that I weigh so much and sometimes I don’t even feel like myself anymore. Because of this I have decided to take action and start a healthy lifestyle! I am kinda of nervous to talk about this stuff but it will probably help me out a lot to write about it.
