L’Oréal Paris La Lacque Lip Crayon

Hello!!

Even though I don’t wear them as much as I would want, I am a total lipstick junkie.  I see a color and I need to get it, especially if it’s a pink or peach toned lipstick.  So while reading the September edition of Glamour Magazine, I stubbled upon L’Oréal Paris La Lacque Lip Crayon in Choco-Lacque.  I was immediately drawn to the pink lip crayon because 1) it is pink and 2) because it shown to repeat Karlie Kloss’ makeup look, and I am a bit obsessed with her at the moment.  I went to the store that evening and picked up the lip product.

First of all, I love the packaging.  The gold lettering goes great with the pink tube!

The color is kind of a dark baby pink (if that makes any sense.)  It says it is a shiny full coverage lip color and it is full coverage but I would say it is a bit on the matte side, which I do not mind at all.  This color is great for a minimal makeup look and also works great if you want your eyes to be the main attraction.

Since I have somewhat dry lip, I always put on lip balm before I put on any lipsticks.  For this particular lip crayon the results of this combo is gorgeous.  It makes the color shiner and a bit lighter so you get the look of a lipstick without the sticky feel.  I absolutely like to wear it both ways but I love how it looks on me when I put the lip balm on first!

There are only two things I do not like about this crayon.  You really have to exfoliate for lips for a smooth canvas or this lip crayon will reveal how dry your lip are, but  I would say applies to most lipstick so it’s not that big of deal.  The second is that the top comes off really easy so sometimes I will find it open when I reach for it in my makeup bag.

Overall this is a great color!

    • Thank you! I would have to say to always write about things you love. There are times that I make a post that I don’t think people will like but they actually do. I also think picture are very important because they make it more eye appealing. You don’t have to buy an expensive camera, I use my iPhone and day time lighting in mine. If you have more question I am happy to answer them, just send them on the contact tab since I will be able to right more and help you more with specific question. 🙂
