Two e.l.f. Cosmetics Eyeliners for the Perfect Cat Eye

When doing my makeup, my go-to style for eyeliner is a cat eye!! A cat eye makes any makeup look better!!  One of the most important things when creating one is having the right eyeliner because no matter the skill, if the liner sucks, the wing will too!

Two Eyeliners

I recently picked up two eyeliners from e.l.f. Cosmetics and while I was a bit hesitant at first, they turned out to be great for creating a beautiful cat eye.  Keep reading to see which two eyeliners I’m talking about. Enjoy!  Continue reading

Big Lashes: Babe Lash Growth Serum | Review

Everyone loves big, long lashes but not everyone is born with them!  Thankfully, lash growth serums exist!!  Back in 2013 or 2014, I would watch a lot of Aspyn Ovard’s YouTube Videos and the one thing that always kept me in aww was her eyelashes.  She revealed that she used the growth serum by Babe Lash and shortly after I decided to give it a try.

Lipsticks Shades You Should Own

Lipstick is the makeup product that I last got into because, for me, it was super intimidating!! When I was in high school I would put foundation on my lips with some clear lip balm and thought that looked good, now I’m cringing just thinking about it!!

Lipstick Shades You Should Own

Over the past two to three years my love of lipsticks has grown and I am more confident wearing bolder colors.  It did take me a while to not feel ridiculous wearing bright reds or dark lip colors but now I love them.  Today I wanted to share the four types of lipstick shades you should own to have a good lipstick collection.  Keep reading to see the shades I’m talking about and also various lipsticks I recommend.  Enjoy!!

Nude – Lipstick that is nude color is my go-to for days when I’m in a rush or want to draw attention to my eyes.  My favorite nude lipstick at the moment is Maroon Dust by Max Factor, it last all day long!! Other nude shades that I love to wear are Velvet Teddy by MAC Cosmetics, Beige Chiffon by Jafra, and Color Splash Hydrating Lipstick in Set Sail by Tarte.  Set Sail could really go as a dusty rose color but I feel it fits well in the nudes category.  * Swatched in the order they are mentioned.

Pink – I’m a girly girl so pink lipstick is super fun for me to wear.  It always catches my eye and out of all the shades of lipstick I own, pink is the one I buy most, even if I don’t wear it too often.  My favorite pink colored lipstick right now is Blurred Lines Smooth Fill Gel-Crème Lipstick in Live by It Cosmetics.  It is a super sheer color and gives lips a natural shade of pink.  Others I love are Amazonian Butter Lipstick in Tulip by Tarte, and Lippie Lingerie Matte Tint in Envy by Tarte* Swatched in the order they are mentioned.

Red – Red is a must have for everyone!! It looks super classy on everybody and makes an outfit great!!  I will admit that I rarely wear red lipstick because, for me, it was the most intimidating color!! I love to wear the shade more during the winter and, not only do my teeth look more white when I wear a red shade, but I also feel like a million bucks!!  My go-to red lipstick is benebalm by Benefit because it is sheer, hydrates my lips, and I can wear it in the out without feeling over the top.  Red Satin by Jafra is also a lovely bright red shade that is super glossy.  Creme Lip Stain Liquid Lipstick in Always Red (01) by Sephora is super gorgeous, I wore it for last year’s Christmas party and felt amazing!! The Liquid Lipstick goes on great and it lasted pretty much the whole party. * Swatched in the order they are mentioned.

Dark – I absolutely love dark lipstick, especially in the fall time (which I also love!!)  My favorite dark lipstick is Dark Side by MAC Cosmetics.  To me, Dark Side screams fall time and I absolutely love that!! Other dark lipsticks I adore are Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Bacca by Stila (it’s kind of a dark fuchsia shade), Praline by e.l.f. Cosmetics (a dark nude shade that lasts all day!!), and Hydra-Matte Liquid Lipstick in Plum Crazy by Gerard Cosmetics* Swatched in the order they are mentioned.
